Historia
SKA filmy
W 1997 roku producent Matthew Vaughn i reżyser Guy Ritchie założyli własną firmę w Wielkiej Brytanii , której pierwszym projektem był Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels , przeznaczony dla Handmade Films .
W 1999 roku Vaughn i Ritchie zawarli umowę z Sony Pictures na dystrybucję ich kolejnego projektu, Snatch .
Zespół podążył za tym kolejnym wielkim projektem Swept Away , z udziałem Madonny . Film został zbombardowany krytycznie i komercyjnie. W 2003 roku zdobył nagrodę Złotej Maliny .
Filmy Marva
Jeszcze w tym samym roku Ritchie i Vaughn zerwali więzy, zmieniając w ten sposób SKA Films na Marv Films , a pierwszą produkcją pod nowym szyldem był debiut reżyserski Matthew Vaughna Layer Cake .
W 2007 roku podpisał umowę z Sony Pictures Entertainment na produkcję filmów fabularnych. Jeszcze w tym samym roku do firmy dołączył Charlie Mitchell.
W 2009 roku Kris Thykier zdecydował się opuścić Marv Films, aby założyć PeaPie Films i produkować nowe filmy fabularne.
W 2018 r. Vaughn uruchomił swoją spółkę zależną Marv Studios, aby skonfigurować nowe rebooty filmów fabularnych.
