" John the Revelator " / " Lilian " to drugi podwójny singiel na stronie A zespołu Depeche Mode i ich czterdziesty czwarty singiel, wydany 5 czerwca 2006 roku. Obie piosenki znajdują się na albumie Depeche Mode z 2005 roku , Playing the Angel i służą jako czwarty singiel z albumu (patrz 2006 w muzyce brytyjskiej ). Singiel stał się kolejnym hitem brytyjskiej czołówki 20 zespołu, osiągając 18 miejsce.

„John the Revelator” został dodany do B-List BBC 6 Music , ale nie udało mu się stworzyć żadnej innej listy odtwarzania BBC ani Xfm London . Był również grany przez kilka alternatywnych stacji radiowych w USA, w tym WKQX ( Chicago ), przez cały 2006 rok, mimo że nie został tam wydany jako singiel.

„John the Revelator” został zredagowany kilka sekund na singlu, podczas gdy „Lilian” został lekko zremiksowany, a wstęp został skrócony.
